Martha Berry notes an irony in life of author Vista Allison Martha Berry writes: It's ironic that Mrs. Allison wrote such a comprehensive history of Adair County Methodism when she was never a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Allison was faithful in attendance of the Methodist Church but she was, and remained the rest of her life, a member of the Christian Church, as were their children. I have the book and read it again not too long ago and as far as I know it is an accurate history of our Church in Adair County, KY. --Martha BerryComments re article 59852 Mike Watson Adair County Writers IV This story was posted on 2013-05-30 15:06:17
