Mr. Carl Taylor Perkins, age 94, of Greensburg, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in Greensburg.

The funeral services for Mr. Carl Taylor Perkins will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, May 31, 2013, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Neagle Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Thursday, May 30, 2013, and after 7amCT/8amET, Friday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.



Mr. Carl Taylor Perkins, 94, Greensburg, KY (1918-2013)

Mr. Carl Taylor Perkins of Greensburg, KY was the son of the late Samuel Lee Perkins and Florence Tucker Perkins. He was born on September 2, 1918 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill. He was 94 years, 8 months, and 27 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. He was also a self-employed farmer and carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years: Mrs. Ruth Clark Perkins of Green County and the following:
  • Three daughters and two sons-in-law: Betty and Don Church, Patty Mills, and Judy and Louie Froggett, all of Green County, KY

  • One daughter-in-law: Pam Davis Perkins of Green County, KY.

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Sixteen great-grandchildren

  • Two great great grandchildren
  • A host of other relatives and friends
Memorial Donations are suggested to the Neagle Cemetery Fund or the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. These can be made at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
