Likes idea of inmate garden; adds suggestions

Lois Cunningham writes:
I think this is a great idea. Inmates need a purpose other than sitting in a cell all day long. This kind of thing gets them outside and doing a useful project. I have been wondering, the hospital board has been asking for volunteers to cut the hospital lawn etc. isn''t this something the inmates could do? There are lots of projects here in the county that need doing and with budgets short of money, maybe we could utilize the jail inmates and give them something meaningful to do that gets them out of their cells and saves some money for others. - Lois Cunningham
