Mr. James Ralph Flowers, age 72, of Louisville, KY, formerly of the Chestnut Grove Community in Cumberland County, KY, passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2013 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. James Ralph Flowers will be conducted on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm noon CT on Thursday, May 30, 2013, until the funeral hour on Friday at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Survivors include the following:
  • His daughters: Patricia Davidson and Patty Arms, both of Burkesville, KY

  • His step-daughters: Bonnie Decola of Indiana and Connie Lucas of Louisville, KY

  • His siblings: Raye Brown of Pennville, IN; and Joyce Kerr of Burkesville, KY

  • His very special companion: Patricia Smith of Louisville, KY

  • Several grandchildren and several great grandchildren
.The family would appreciate contributions to: The Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, The Chestnut Grove Cemetery Fund or We Care of Cumberland County, KY.
