Two vehicle wreck Bennett Ridge results in injuries, charges

Two Columbia, KY residents taken to TJ Samson for injuries. Driver of other vehicle, from Edmonton, KY faces charges; his passenger, from Columbia, KY, taken into custody on outstanding warrant

The Adair Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle collision Sunday evening May 26, 2013. Frank Jones, 19 of Edmonton, KY, was traveling on Bennett Ridge headed towards Keltnertown Road in his 1998 Chevy pickup when he met and collided with Tiffany Darling, 24 of Columbia, KY, who was traveling the opposite direction in her 2002 Ford.



Darling's passenger, Jane Potts, 45, of Columbia, KY sustained injuries as a result of the collision and was treated initially by Adair EMS before being taken to TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY, for further treatment.

Darling was later taken privately to TJ Samson to be treated for possible injuries.

Jones and his passenger Randal Dotson, 32, of Columbia, KY were not hurt.

Jones was charged with failure to produce an insurance card, no insurance, expired registration, and license not being in possession.

Randal Dotson, who had an active warrant, was also taken into custody.

Adair Search and Rescue and Breeding Fire Department Fire Department were at the scene. --Deputy Adam Cravens
