Trio of Blue Raiders Named NAIA Women's Tennis All-American Slavica Milanovic is first team All American. Laura Vergara and Alejandra Galvis named to second team All American From Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson senior Slavica Milanovic has been named National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics first team All-American and senior Laura Vergara and freshman Alejandra Galvis are second team All-Americans, NAIA officials announced on Monday. The trio helped the Blue Raiders reach the program's fifth national semifinals on Friday before falling to the eventual national champion Auburn-Montgomery (AL). Milanovic finished her final season with a 10-7 singles record playing as the Blue Raiders top-seeded player. She added a 13-7 doubles mark playing at both No.1 and No. 3 seeds during the season. Milanovic earned honorable mention honors last season. Vergara -- who also earned honorable mention last season -- posted a 13-4 singles record playing also entirely as the Blue Raiders' third seed. She closed out her career this season with a team-best 18-2 doubles record. Galvis closed her first season with a 13-3 singles record primarily as Lindsey Wilson's second seed. She ended with a 16-2 doubles mark, including 7-0 with Vergara as the second seed. Lindsey Wilson, AUM and Brenau (GA) led all teams with three All-Americans each. Sixteen women were selected by the All-American committee on each the first and second teams. An additional 16 women were picked as honorable mention.
