The 1st Annual ACHS Senior/Parent Breakfast, hosted by the Adair County Adult Education Center and the Adair County High School was held at the LWC Cranmer Dining Center on Friday, May 17, 2013. There were 250 students, parents and community members in attendance. Those who attended were given the opportunity to hear four informative and congratulatory speeches given by Alan Reed, AC Schools Superintendent, Ron Heath, AC Work Ready Committee Chair, Chris Schmidt, LWC Dean of Students, and LeAnna Bennett, Assistant Program Director for the Adult Education Center.

The breakfast was a huge success, but would not have been made possible without the support of the community. A special thanks to all the businesses and individuals who donated time and money to this event. Adair County has proven, once again, its generosity to our younger generation. Lindsey Wilson College provided the dining hall; decorations were by Flowers 'n Things. - LeAnna Bennett
