Mr. Roger "Slick" Murley, age 61 of Campbellsville, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013, in at the Jewish Hospital, Louisville, KY.

The funeral service for Mr. Roger "Slick" Murley, will be conducted Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10amCT/11amET, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Tom Clark officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the funeral home.


He was the son of the late Walter Bransford and Lillian Leona Berry Murley. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include
  • A son and daughter: Chris Storey of Georgia and Barbie Storey Weathers of South Carolina

  • A sister: Pat Clark of Louisville, KY, and her companion, Mike Milby, Sr of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three brothers: Allen Murley and wife Karen of Russell Springs, KY; Bill Murley and wife Joan of North Carolina; Walter R. Murley and wife Janet of Campbellsville, KY

  • A special niece: Kaleigh Murley of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Murley was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Edward Murley in 2007.

L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
