Jon Halsey: On Affordable Healthcare Act

By Jon Halsey
Personal opinions of the writer

Yeah, Right!

"...This is the moment the rise of the oceans begin to slow, this is the moment the planet begins to heal."

Seems exceedingly strange that all of this forward looking analysis ignores and flies in the face of the actual experience evidenced by those who have actually implemented the "Affordable Health Care Act".

Democratic Senator Max Baucus who was a key player in getting the Act passed now calls it "...a train wreck". Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said 8 days ago that he "...shares colleagues' concerns that the Affordable Care Act could become a "train wreck"..."

. It also leads one to wonder why some of the Unions who fought so hard for it's passage are now desperately trying to get their membership exempted from the provisions of the Act.

Congress is hurriedly trying to find a way to exempt themselves and their staffers from coming under the onus of the Act. Seems like not reading what you are voting for can have some shocking surprises buried deep inside.
