LWC Men's Tennis gets 1 of 8 byes in NAIA National Tournament LWC in 2013 NAIA National Tennis Tournament Lindsey Wilson vs. winner of Concordia (CA) and Doane (NE) at 9amCT on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Mobile Tennis Center, 851 Gaillard Drive, Mobile, AL 36608 By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's tennis received one of eight byes into the second round of the 2013 NAIA National Tournament being held next week at the Mobile Tennis Center, 851 Gaillard Drive, Mobile, Mobile, AL. The NAIA released the 24-team, single-elimination tournament bracket today. First round play begins on Tuesday, May 14 with eight opening round matches. The Blue Raiders are making their 10th national tournament appearance after claiming the Mid-South Conference's automatic bid with the MSC Tournament title in Lexington, KY. Lindsey Wilson is 8-10 all-time in the national tournament. Concordia (11-12) is in its sixth appearance national tournament and sports a 5-5 all-time record. Doane (13-7) is making its national tournament debut in 2013. Concordia earned one of the tournament's 10 at-large bids based on its national ranking in the final NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll. Doane earned its way into the tournament after winning the Great Plains Athletic Conference Tournament. Lindsey Wilson enters the tournament winners of three straight - all in the MSC Tournament - and 14 of its last 15 matches. Embry-Riddle (Fla.) is the top seed in the tournament and is a potential quarterfinal opponent of the Blue Raiders. Auburn Montgomery (AL), Vanguard (CA) and Westmont (CA) are the remaining top-four seeds.
