Kentucky Blast goes 4-0 in Super Regionals in Mason, OH Katherine Curry, a player for the Kentucky Blast basketball team, is an eighth grader at Adair County Middle School, Columbia, KY Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Mike Curry This past weekend the Kentucky Blast girls 8th grade basketball team competed in the super-regionals held in Mason, Ohio. The Blast is an AAU organization based out of Bowling Green, KY and consist of young ladies from Bowling Green, Owensboro, Franklin, Tompkinsville and Columbia. The Blast went 4-0 in this tournament and won the championship earning a bid to the nationals in Orlando Florida. Team members are Claire Bybee, Ashlee Mcgeorge, Katherine Curry, Lexi Payne, Deanna Taylor, Ally Delaney, and Kourtney Turner.
