Kentucky Blast goes 4-0 in Super Regionals in Mason, OH

This past weekend the Kentucky Blast girls 8th grade basketball team competed in the super-regionals held in Mason, Ohio.



The Blast is an AAU organization based out of Bowling Green, KY and consist of young ladies from Bowling Green, Owensboro, Franklin, Tompkinsville and Columbia.

The Blast went 4-0 in this tournament and won the championship earning a bid to the nationals in Orlando Florida.

Team members are Claire Bybee, Ashlee Mcgeorge, Katherine Curry, Lexi Payne, Deanna Taylor, Ally Delaney, and Kourtney Turner.

Katherine Curry is an 8th grader at Adair County Middle School, Columbia, KY.

Coaches are Joe and Sheila McGeorge. - Mike Curry
