Campbellsville Police investigate stabbings on Walling Avenue

Both men treated at TRH; one later transported to UL Hospital. Investigation continues. Arrests pending.

News from the Campbellsville Police Department

On Saturday, April 20, 2013 at approximately 10:14 Campbellsville Police responded to a reported break in in process call at 606 Walling Avenue in Campbellsville. When Police units arrived on the scene they discovered two male subjects inside the residence, identified as Marvin Brown of Ray Court in Campbellsville and Marcus Crowder of 606 Walling Avenue suffering from stab wounds.



Once the scene was secured, it was reported by Janet Groves of 606 Walling Ave that Marvin Brown had illegally gained entrance into her residence. Groves reported that once inside her residence, Brown and her son, Crowder became involved in an altercation which led to both men being stabbed.

Marcus Crowder sustained non- life threatening injuries and was transported by Campbellsville Taylor County EMS to Taylor Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.
< BR> Brown sustained multiple lacerations and was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville-Taylor County EMS and was later flown to University of Louisville Hospital where he was treated and later released.

Campbellsville Police are continuing their investigation and arrests are pending.
