Even in the rain, people came to the Farmers Market By Maury Lewis Even in the rain the people came to get their free tomato plant, free garlic chives and popcorn. They also came to shop for the fresh bread's, cheeses, strawberries, asparagus, lettuce, spinach and green onions (time to eat a salad). Then they bought soap and body scrubs so they could go home and take a nice hot bath after getting chilled to the bone from the rain and chilled air. Those that have not come down to the Market have missed some nice things, but there is always a Saturday in next week and I heard some say they will have some specials for that special one you call mother or mom for Mothers' Day Sunday, May 12, 2013. - Maury Lewis This story was posted on 2013-05-04 13:48:24
