Blue Raiders deliver over 500 items to Adair Food Pantry

Blue Raider Football Players Rome Cotton a Junior from Miami, FL; Jon Smith, Junior, Milford, OH; Corrion Cooper, Sophomore, Jackson, TN; and Chris Dobbins, Junior, Murray, KY delivered more than 500 non-perishable food items collected at the spring Blue-White game to the Adair County Food Pantry, 203 S Monroe Street, Columbia, KY.



The cans were donated in lieu of admission for event, held April 19, 2013, at Blue Raider Stadium, inside Lindsey Wilson's Blue Raider Park, 828 Russell Road, Columbia, KY. It was the fourth consecutive year the LWC Football Team has collected food for the Food Pantry.

It's a way of reciprocating, LWC Head Football Coach Chris Oliver said. "We are very appreciative of the support we receive from this community, and it's great to be able to give something back." The Blue White game completed spring practice.

The opening game game for the 2013 season will be: Lindsey Wilson vs. Campbellsville, at 7pmCT, Saturday, August 31, at Blue Raider Stadium, 828 Russell Road, Columbia, KY. (Game on CM Calendar of Events)
