Evelyn Roberts Hunt, Taylor County, KY (1937-2013)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was a native of Taylor County, KY, the daughter of the late Lester Roberts and Anna Sexton Roberts. She was the widow of Bobby "Mo" Hunt. She leaves one direct living descendant.

Evelyn Roberts Hunt, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 10:24amET, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Pastor Wayne Brooks. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, May 5, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.

Pallbearers: Valerie Bell, Cindy Hall, Tommy Hall, Jeffrey K. Hunt, Mary Maurer, Mark Roberts, and Richard "Buck" Roberts.

Evelyn Roberts Hunt was the daughter of the late Lester Roberts and Anna Sexton Roberts. She was born in Taylor County, KY, Friday, April 30, 1937, Taylor County, Kentucky. She died, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 1 day.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Bobby "Mo" Hunt, who preceded her in death January 14, 1995.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Jeffrey K. Hunt of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister and two brothers: Peggy Hall and husband, Buster and Richard "Buck" Roberts of Campbellsville, KY; and Jerry Roberts of Louisville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Clifford Roberts, David Roberts, Margie Wise and Lydia Bell.
