Post 15 Troopers vs. Casey MS staff, teachers May 11, 2013

Will benefit Casey Co. 8th grader with rare, aggressive cancer

By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer
Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY

COLUMBIA, KY - Troopers from Post 15 will be participating in a basketball game versus Casey County school system faculty and staff members at the Casey County Middle School, 1673 E KY 70, Liberty, KY, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 6pmCT/7pmET. Admission to the game is $5.00 per person and all proceeds will benefit Noah Laman, an 8th grader at Casey County Middle School, who was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma.

This is a very rare and aggressive type of cancer. Noah had some problems with his knee towards the end of football season and it was believed to be a pulled muscle or soreness. An MRI revealed that he had a tumor in his left thigh bone just above his knee. Noah plays football and participates in track and field and is a very bright and intelligent thirteen-year-old. Everyone is invited to attend. - TFC Wm. Gregory
