Junior and his wife Mary Agnes Harris were foster parents to many children in the area for many years. He enjoyed his family and friends and always had a story and a smile. He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Beechville

Henry B. Harris, Jr age 80 of the Beechville community of Metcalfe County, KY, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, May 3, 2013, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street,Edmonton, KY,with burial in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Thursday, May 2, 2013, and after 9amCT/10amET, Friday at the funeral home.



Junior and his wife Mary Agnes Harris were foster parents to many children in the area for many years. He enjoyed his family and friends and always had a story and a smile. He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Beechville.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Donald R. Harris and wife Vickie, Douglas A. Harris and wife Kay of Edmonton, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Jordan Harris, Jessica Harris, Allisha, Alley and Hallie Harris, Edmonton, KY

  • Two beautiful great grand baby girls, Ella and Caycee all of Edmonton, KY

  • One sister: Louise Easter of Tennessee

  • Special family friends: Kevin and Christy Brooks of Center, Katelyn Harper of Edmonton, KY; Nick Pickerall of Hodgenville, KY; and Lisa and Curtis Boswell of Edmonton, KY
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Agnes Harris, mother Elizabeth Pearl Harris; two daughters, Hilda and Carlotta Harris; grandson Dexter Harris, brother Joe Harris and sister Inez Stircker.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Columbia, KY, in charge of arrangements.
