Dana Kay Fields Brown age 61 of Edmonton, KY, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 Main Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, and after 9amCT/10amET, at the funeral home.



She was a cook at the Metcalfe County School system for 21 years and a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Brown of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Sheila Bailey, Edmonton, KY

  • One son: Tony and wife Melissa Brown, Edmonton, KY

  • One sister: Carolyn Fields of Indiana

  • And one brother: James and wife Christine Fields of Kentucky

  • Four grandchildren: Valorie Nelson, Haley Brown, Cassidy Brown and William Hammer, all of Edmonton, KY

  • One great grandchild: Nathan Upton all of Edmonton, KY
She was preceded in death by her father Roy "Shorty" Fields and one daughter Judy Brown.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
