Clevelan C. Roach, Metcalfe Co., KY native (1942-2013)

He was a member of a highly regarded family with deep roots in Metcalfe, Barren, and Adair Counties and elsewhere. He was retired from SKF after 35 years and was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and Sunday school teacher.

Clevelan C. Roach 70 of Glasgow, KY, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be 2pmCT, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, 201 East Washington Street, Glasgow, KY, with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the funeral home.



Clevelan C. Roach, Metcalfe Co., KY native (1942-2013)

He was born in Metcalfe County, KY, on August 30, 1942. He was the son of the late Chester Ray and Alvina Sexton Roach. He died Sunday, April 28, 2013, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 29 days.

He was retired from SKF after 35 years and was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include his wife Betty Sue Jessie Roach, and the following:
  • His daughter: Angela Mutter and husband Matt of Glasgow, KY

  • His son: Darrell Roach of Glasgow, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Kyle Roach, Alex and Lauryn Mutter

  • A brother: James Earl Roach and wife Carole of Louisville, KY

  • A sister: Patricia Roach Hadley, and husband Billy of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Marvin and Cora Wilson Roach and his maternal grandparents Jim Riley Sexton and Mattie Pearl Roach Sexton.

The A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, 201 East Washington Street, Glasgow, KY, in charge of arrangements.
