Columbia, KY driver injured, airlifted to UL after KY 55 accident

Jamie Flatt, 20, Columbia, KY, was injured in a single vehicle accident today at 3:15amCT/4:15amET, April 30, 2013, on KY 55 in Taylor County, KY, north of Columbia, South of Campbellsville, KY.

Flatt was traveling south on KY 55 in a 1998 Ford Escort. when she swerved to miss a deer, ran off the roadway, and overturned. Flatt was transported to Taylor County Regional Hospital for treatment and was later transferred to UL Hospital for treatment. The accident was investigated by Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Rodney Cox, who was assisted at the scen by Taylor County Fire & Rescue. - Larry Smith, 99.9 FM, the Big Dawg, Campbellsville, KY
