Nancy Pearl Gosser Melson, 60, of Russell Springs, KY died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services for Nancy Melson will be 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Eld. Ronald Wilson officiating. Friends may call after 4pmCT/5pmET, Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Special singing will be by Debbie Conner.


Pallbearers: Jerry Melson, Ricky Melson, Hugh Wilson, David Wilson, Dennis Gosser, and Duane Gosser.


Nancy Melson, Russell Springs, KY (1952-2013)

Nancy Melson was born Saturday, August 2, 1952 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Brent and Sarah Rainwater Gosser. She died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 60 years, 8 months, and 26 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Russell Springs United Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Melson, and the following:
  • Three children: Vanessa Gosser Burton (Stacy), Russell Springs, KY; Felicia Wilson Morgan (Tim), Columbia, KY; Joshua David Melson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Isaiah, Zachary, Caleb, and Jonah

  • Two brothers: Leonard (Juanita) Gosser, Franklin, IN; and Kenneth Gosser, Russell Springs, KY
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James T. Gosser and Donald Gosser; and a sister, Wanda Wilson.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
