The Patriots (37-20), who upset No. 2-seed Georgetown (Ky.) on Thursday, fell behind 4-0 in the third inning against the Blue Raiders (40-16) and never put up enough offense to recover. Both right fielder Jeff Kerian and third baseman Mitchell Osnowitz went 2-for-5 with doubles that scored two Lindsey Wilson runs. First baseman Manuel Ozoria collected the most hits with a 3-for-5 showing, knocking in and scoring a run. Chris Erker (11-2) picked up the win, scattering nine hits for three runs with five strikeouts and two walks in 7-2/3 innings. Scott Sebald finished out the game, allowing a single hit in 1-1/3 innings. This story was posted on 2013-04-27 07:03:17
