Cyclist taken to Westlake Hospital following accident, Friday Click on headline for story with photo By Ofc. Josh Brockman, Public Information Officer Columbia, KY Police Department, Jason Cross, Chief On April 26, 2013 at approximately 2:27pmCT, Columbia Police Department responded along with Adair County EMS to a bike accident on Jamestown Hill at its intersection with Guthrie Street. According to witness statements Nathaniel Jones, 29, of Columbia, KY, was coming over Hill on the sidewalk, at a high rate of speed when he saw a car approaching stop sign at Guthrie Street and Jamestown Street and attempted to stop. Mr. Jones was thrown over handle bars and landed on blacktop, striking his head. Jones was treated by Adair EMS and transferred to Westlake Regional Hospital for treatment.
