Founder's Day activities today start at 3:30pmCT Lindsey Wilson choral ensembles under the direction of LWC Director of Choral Activities Gerald Chafin will be in Concert at 6:30pmCT, Sunday, April 29, 2013, at Columbia Christian Church, 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, as part of celebration By Duane Bonifer, Director of Public Relations Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College community will conclude a week of academic celebration with Founders' Day on Thursday night and a spectacular spring concert on Sunday night. The college community kicked off Academic Celebration Week on Monday and Tuesday with more than three dozen student presentations about undergraduate research projects conducted this school year with the college's faculty. Wednesday included a recital by tuba and piano, along with a guest speaker. Thursday events include:

"You don't always see the grass grow, but when you look back on it over a period of time, it's a truly remarkable story." Sunday, April 29, 2013 event: The weeklong celebration will culminate with a concert at 6:30pmCT, Sunday, April 29, 2013, at Columbia Christian Church, 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. The Sunday night program will include selections from J.S. Bach's Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto in F Major, Ernst von Dohnanyi's Piano Quintet in C Minor, and Faure's Requiem. The concert will feature the Lindsey Wilson choral ensembles under the direction of LWC Director of Choral Activities Gerald Chafin. Featured musicians will include Hana Park, Hannah Warren and LWC Professor of Music Robert Reynolds, piano; Saelim Henderson and Wansoo Cho, violin; Denis Santos, viola; Saulo DeAlmeida, cello.
