Well, as I expected, some people are getting above their raising . . . the Backyard Oil show was entertaining, showed the oil men of Adair County in a much better light than I expected, had humor, and illustrated that even though someone is wealthier than their neighbors they don't necessarily get involved with "keeping up with the Joneses" and "putting on airs" to impress anyone.

These oil men know what their bank account is and if they choose to not change their mode of dress nor verbal habits, it is no one's business but their own. - Joyce M. Coomer
