Mike Watson: Raves for Backyard Oil He'll keep watching, and laughing! By Mike Watson Adair County Historian and sometime Television Critic I really enjoyed Backyard Oil episodes last night. The humor of the show will help to carry it as much as the drilling experiences. Who among us is not a bit (or a lot) eccentric? We Adair Countians are a funny lot and that should be not detriment. As for the oilmen, I have known since the late 1960s, they were and are a crusty lot, that is what makes them endearing to us all, and able to survive in a business that is a daily gamble. I'll keep watching, and laughing! - MIKE WATSON This story was posted on 2013-04-24 07:35:06
