FM2 - She came, she bought, and had a great time She'll be back next Saturday 'Thanks to the Committee for all the hard work and planning, and the great idea. Between the Saturday Farmers' Market, and the Tuesday and Friday markets at the Extension Office, Adair County could well become the Farmers' Market capitol of the world' - - MARY KNIGHT By Mary Knight I've foundd my go-to-spot for Satuday mornings!!!! More fun than a barrel of monkeys. I got there just mini-seconds too late for the cheese - a lady bought the last piece just as I sampled the cheddar. I'll be back next Saturday. Got some garlic chives from the Garden Club, with a very helpful planting guide. I'll be back next Saturday. Found the cutest necklace--made with nuts, and washers--clever and sweet. I'll be back next Saturday. Got some honey - from local hives. That should help my husband, Dick's, allergies. I''ll be back next Saturday. Got some cabbage plants and setting out advice. I'll be back next Saturday. Got some beet greens - the spinach Dick requested was gone--and some cooking advice. I'll be back next Saturday. Got a Nathan's hot dog - but was so busy visiting that I brought it home. Yummy, even cold. I'll be back next Saturday. Brought 2 wedges of veggie pizza from Felicia and Vivian at the GED booth. Dick said he didn't want his until later. Well, his "later" had better be in the next 10 minutes or so. That pizza is outstanding, and I know where it is and I'm hungry. . . again. For that, I'll really be back next Saturday. See you there!!!! Thanks to the Committee for all the hard work and planning, and the great idea. Between the Saturday Farmers' Market, and the Tuesday and Friday markets at the Extension Office, Adair County could well become the Farmers' Market capital of the world. Thanks again - --Mary Knight This story was posted on 2013-04-20 14:02:04
