Betty Wilson, 74, of Columbia, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at 7:07pmCT, at her home.

Cremation has been chosen. There will be no services. Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.



Betty Wilson, Adair County, KY (1938-2013)


She was born Wednesday, June 15, 1938, in Amarillo, Potter County,Texas. She was the daughter of the late Presley Grundy and Sheby Juanita Cooper Fowler. She died Monday, April 15, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 74 years, 10 months.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Jayle Bearse in 2000.

She was a former cook at Holmes Bend Boat Dock and Betty's O.K. Country Cooking and a former bookkeeper. Survivors Include:
  • Her husband: Howard B. "Brad" Wilson of Columbia, KY

  • One son: James Marvin Bryant of Florida

  • One daughter: Deborah Juanita Elmore-Booton of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: John Farris Fowler of Cedar Edge, Colorado; and Kenneth Mark Fowler of Aurora, Colorado

  • One sister: Virginia JoAnn Lemoine of Amarillo, Texas

  • Three grandchildren and one great grandchild
Cremation has been chosen. There will be no services.
