CU Jazz concert will also feature Taylor Co. High Jazz Band

News from Campbellsville University

The Campbellsville University School of Music will be featuring the CU Jazz Orchestra, along with the Taylor County High School Jazz Band, in its spring program "Changing Colors" on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 7pmCT/8pmET at The Gheens Recital Hall, Gosser Fine Arts Center, 210 University Drive, Campbellsville, KY. The TCHS Jazz Band will perform at 6:45pmCT/7:45pmET. The program is free and open to the public. The program will last about an hour.



New to the program this year is the opening act by the Taylor County High School Jazz Band. Stephen Bishop, director.

The Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Jennifer Tinnell, director of bands and instructor in music, will be featuring a variety of tunes. The set list has music made famous by Nat King Cole, Earth Wind and Fire, Charles Mingus, Irving Berlin, The Rippingtons and other legendary jazz musicians. Information from Joan C.
