Paving to begin April 20, 2013, on U.S. 127 in Russell Co., KY

One-lane work zone for the next four weeks

SOMERSET, KY (April 15, 2013) - Beginning Saturday, April 20, U.S. 127 in Russell County will be reduced to one lane starting at mile maker 17.6 (0.1 mile north of KY 1381) and ending at mile maker 12.5 (Jamestown Square) as crews begin pavement improvements.



Work is scheduled to start with milling on Saturday and Sunday taking place between the hours of 6amCT and 6pmCT. Milling work will continue to take place on Monday night between the hours of 6pmCT and 6amCT. Tuesday morning. Full-paving operations are expected to begin Wednesday, May 1, limited to night time and weekend work zones. Work is expected to last four weeks.

The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destinations.
