Chromebooks for Casey: Surprising the Principal day

Chromebooks for Casey passed half-way point this morning! The principal is focused on another important leadership role today, so it's up to us to keep the momentum going today - we're at $1,867, enough for almost 19 Chromebooks. CM

Col. Wm Casey Elementary School Principal Patty Jones wrote today that she will be focused on another area of leadership today and will not be able to ride herd on her trailblazing project, Chromebooks for Casey. The drive is on auto-pilot today. But wouldn't it be great if education supporters handed her a surprise when she's back to give leadership to the drive tomorrow. BK already has, putting the total past the half-way point early this morning. She wrote, on the DonorsChoose.org site:
"I gave because we need to support our schools, kids, and our future." - BK"
It's worth taking the time to scan the Chromebooks for Casey site frequently. And make a donation to add impetus to the drive and surprise the Principal. Whether the donors send the total up $500, as one appears to have done, or $100 to cover one laptop, or $10 just to support a great cause, the messages are writing a significant chapter in Adair County history. - EW
