By Trudy Crabb, President
VFW Post 6097 Auxiliary, Columbia, KY

Ladies, don't forget the VFW Auxiliary meeting Thursday night, April 11, at 7pmCT/8pmET, at the VFW building, 411 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY. Any one wishing to join is more than welcome to attend.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary, is limited to wives, widows, mothers, foster and stepmother (who have performed the duties of parent), grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, foster and stepdaughter (who attained that status prior to the of age 16, and for whom the duties of parent were performed ), sisters, half sisters, foster and stepsisters (prior to age 16), of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the VFW. Women eligible for membership in VFW are eligible for dual membership in the Ladies Auxiliary.

Membership is $20 dollars per year and Life Membership is dependent on age at time of application.

Auxiliary members can join without the Veteran, being a member! They have to be or have to have been eligible for membership. If have or can locate a copy of the Veterans DD214 form and bring it with you when you apply for membership.

It will make the process easier. If not we will try to help you obtain a copy. Serving Veterans is our Goal, Trudy Crabb, President VFW Aux. 6097 --Trudy Crabb
