Kudos of Kenneth and the Mayor's Recycling idea

Writer has tried it since the Mayor first started the program. 'Wonderful because it's great for the environment, and better because we throw so little away now that goes to the Adair County landfill,' She says.

By Linda Cook

Can say this is a great program. When Mayor Harris started it up, I asked Kenneth Dulin for a tote for Westlake Primary Care where I work.

He was also nice enough to let me have one to bring to our home in beautiful Joppa since Ronald and I both work within the city limits.

I take it with me when it's full; we set it and the one from the clinic out.

I call Kenneth, and he not only picks them up at the back steps of WPC, leaving empties, but calls me back letting me know he's switched them out.

Ronald and I do plastic, glass, and newspapers. Wonderful because it's great for the environment, and better because we throw so little away now that goes to the Adair County landfill.

Kudos to the Mayor and Kenneth for the excellent work! - Linda Cook
