Maury wants to know if Recycling just for City folks?

Comments re article 58721 Could Mayor Harris Recycling idea stave off Garbage Rate Hike

Maury writes:
Is this recycling only going to be done in the city or will the county be included in getting the recycle bins and having them picked up? I see they are doing aluminum cans but no metal cans? still no glass? melewi --Maury
Maury: Good questions? I don't know enough about the program, but if I can do anything to stop a hike in garbage rates, I want to do it. Just thankful that Mayor Harris thought it up and then Ken Dulin told me about it and offered to give me a tote. Haven't got one yet. You might ask Ken Dulin about the details: Call 270-250-1431. When I talked to him, he was picking up recyclables on the Square, on his own time, by the way. As for glass: Didn't we find a program at Lindsey Wilson to take care of that? - EW.
