KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY activity report, March 2013 Two fatalities occured in 11 County KSP Post 15 area in March. Fatalities for for 2013 to date are 5 in Post 15 area, down from 7 same period last year. Statewide, fatalities are down as well: 124 in 2013 compared to 156 in 2012. By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY (Columbia, Ky.) - During the month of March 2013, there were 21 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were two fatal collisions during the month of March in the Post 15 area:
State wide fatality count stands at 124 compared with 156 through this same period in 2012. During the month of March 2013, there were 1448 citations written, 306 courtesy notices written, 1485 vehicles inspected, 719 complaints answered, 68 motorists assisted, 64 criminal cases opened and 220 criminal arrests made.
