Milford, CT Sarah Bromley presented Lindsey Wilson College Director of Choral Ensembles Gerald Chafin with a key to the City of Milford Wednesday night, April 3, 2013, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 71 River St., Milford, Ct. The Lindsey Wilson Singers performed a concert there to start a five-day tour of New England. Bromley is a former resident of Columbia, KY, and the daughter Columbia resident Dr. Phil Aaron.



Earlier in the evening, Chafin presented Milford Mayor Ben Blake with a proclamation from Columbia Mayor Mark Harris. In the aftermath of last year's Hurricane Sandy, citizens of Columbia sent truckloads of emergency relief supplies to the residents of Milford, which forged a relationship between the two cities.

In addition to Milford, the Lindsey Wilson Singers will also perform in Worcester, MA, Westford, MA, Boston, Rochester, NH, and York, Maine. - Duane Bonifer, Lindsey Wilson College

The Lindsey Wilson Singers' spring homecoming concert will be 7pm CT, Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Columbia Baptist Church, 201 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. (Listed in CM Events with a linked reminder on the day of the event.

Sarah Aaron Bromley presented the key to the City of Milford, CT, to Dr. Gerald Chafin, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Ms. Bromley is the daughter of Columbia physician Dr. Phil Aaron. Dr. Chafin is Director of the Lindsey Wilson Singers, now in Connecticut on their spring tour. The LWC Singers, at the request of Columbia Mayor Mark D. Harris, are acting as goodwill ambassadors to the City of Milford.
