Crash for NB I-65 will keep traffic to one lane for 3-4 hours

At Mile Marker 53 on I-65 at Cave City, KY

By Keirsten Jaggers, Public Information Officer
KYTC Department of Highways District 3

BOWLING GREEN, KY. (8:21amCT, April 2, 2013) - A crash on northbound I-65 at Cave City has traffic pushed down to one lane due to an early morning tractor trailer crash carrying frozen meat.

Crews have up righted the truck but due to the structural integrity of the trailer, the cargo will have to be off-loaded on site before the truck can be towed.

Traffic will remain pushed down to one lane for the next 3-4 hours. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible. Traffic is backed up 4-5 miles at this time. - Keirsten Jaggers
