Mr. Roger Dale Shirrell, age 69, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service for Mr. Roger Dale Shirrell will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Wilburn Bonta will be officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, and after 7amCT/8pmET, Thursday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.

He was born Sunday, August 29, 1943. He died Monday, March 25, 2013, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 27 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a retired Machine Operator for General Electric.

He is survived by the following:
  • His daughter: Sherry Shirrell of Campbellville, KY

  • A brother and sister in law: Gwendle and Linda Sue Shirrell of Louisville, KY

  • His caretaker: Sheila Shirrell of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Memorials are suggested to the Hosparus of Central Kentucky and may be made a the funeral home.
