He was a native of Green County, KY with many strong family ties in Green and Taylor Counties. He leaves 2 direct living descendants. Mr. Young had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was an electrical technician and a United States Army Veteran

Mr. Donald Young, 64, departed this life Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his home in Waco, Texas

The funeral service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Thursday, March 28, 2013. Visitation will be after 5pmCT/6pmET, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, and after 7amET/8amCT, Thursday, with Rev. Dale Curry the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Green County Memory Garden, Summersville, KY.



Pallbearers: Everett Ferrell, Chris Ferrell, Jason Sallee, Jagger Bowles, Ricky Young, and Anthony Young.

Donald Young, Green County, KY (1948-2013)

Mr. Donald Young was born Sunday, July 25, 1948 in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late Carmon Young and Silver Doreen Allen Young Durham. He departed this life Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his home in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, having attained the age of 64 years, 7 months and 28 days.

Mr. Young had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was an electrical technician and a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Tony and Shawn Young of Tennessee

  • Two brothers and two sisters: Thomas E. Young, Robert G. Young, Betty Jane Sallee and Ellen Aliene Aaron, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • One half brother: Lonnie Durham of Campbellsville, KY

  • And two half sisters: Lisa McFarland of Greensburg, KY and Debbie Snow of Campbellsville, KY
Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
