LWC Baseball takes series opener in Portsmouth, OH game, 6-2 PORTSMOUTH, OH - Two out hits and a complete game pitching effort propelled the No. 12-ranked Lindsey Wilson baseball team to a 6-2 win over host Shawnee State (Portsmouth, OH), Friday, March 22, 2013. Darren Travers (6-1) allowed a pair of unearned runs while scattering seven hits to help the Blue Raiders win their third straight game. Travers struck out five Shawnee State batters in the win.
