Charles Mack Perkins age 76 of Edmonton died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT/3pmET, Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Saturday, March 23, 20 and after 9amCT/10amET, Sunday at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late William Harry Perkins and Ruby Grider Perkins of Edmonton who survives. He was a retired truck driver.

Besides his mother he is survived by the following:
  • Four sons: Michael Perkins of South Carolina, Byron Perkins of North Carolina, Randy Perkins of Tennessee and Chris Perkins of Arkansas

  • One step daughter: Cordula Schmidt of Nebraska

  • One sister: Lola Frances Fields of Edmonton, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
Besides his father he was preceded in death by a son Don Perkins and his wife Anita Schmidt.
