Traffic game plan seeks to reduce tie-ups Transportation Cabinet suggests multiple routes for NCAA tournament goers By Keirsten Jaggers, Public Information Officer KTC Kentucky Department of Highways District, Bowling Green, KY FRANKFORT, KY (March 19, 2013) - Negotiating a handful of Lexington road construction projects may be as challenging to fans attending the second and third rounds of the NCAA basketball tournament, as a full-court press to a point guard. While one-lane traffic has occurred recently due to work on KY 922 (Newtown Pike) and U.S. 60 (Versailles Road), the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet anticipates a two-lane traffic flow on both routes before the first tip-off Thursday afternoon. The Transportation Cabinet suggests the following routes:
