TCSO makes drug arrest in child welfare visit

Taylor County Sheriff's Department was assisting Social Services. Cody Mann, 22, arrested, lodged in Taylor County Detention Center in Campbellsville, KY. Faces multiple drug charges

From Taylor County Sheriff's Department

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department made a drug arrest on March 8, 2013, while assisting Social Services on a welfare check of three children living at a residence at 1881 Sportsman's Lake, Campbellsville, KY.



While at the residence, the TCSO was able to locate a syringe containing morphine and a significant amount of individually packaged amount of methamphetamine, and also located a recently used meth lab and individually packaged methamphetamine, necessitating a HIDTA drug force disposal operation.

Several other paraphernalia items were seized and Cody Mann, 22, 1881 Sportsman Lake Road, Campbellsville was arrested and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st, possession of a controlled substance 1st (morphine), and possession of drug paraphernalia 2nd offense.
