KANSAS CITY, MO - For the first time since 2006, Lindsey Wilson is advancing to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship second round after withstanding a late barrage of threes to beat Rocky Mountain (Billings, MT) 84-79 on Thursday night at Municipal Auditorium.

"I give Coach (Bill) Dreikosen and his kids a lot of credit for never quitting tonight," said Lindsey Wilson head coach Paul Peck. "It didn't matter what we did and how big our lead got, they just kept coming."

Kalen Kimberland finished with a game-high 24 points in the win. The Columbia, KY, native also got after it on the glass, pulling down a team-best 11 boards.

"Kalen was simply terrific tonight," said Peck. "He's been here before and we wanted the ball in his hands. I challenged him to be the best player on the court and he stepped up and led us to this win."
