Marion Co., KY injury collision today involves school bus

None of 13 students on bus injured, but driver of 1999 Honda receives minor injuries

COLUMBIA, KY - Trooper Morris Farris is investigating a collision that occurred this morning at 6:55amET, 9 miles west of Lebanon on US 0068. 81-year-old Goebel R Morgeson of Lebanon, KY was operating a 2006 International Bus. He was traveling west and was attempting a turnabout when he pulled into the path of a 1999 Honda traveling east.



The Honda was operated by 50-year-old Burrell Hartley of Oglethorpe, GA. Hartley was belted but was taken to Springview Hospital for minor injuries. Goebel was belted and not injured. The 13 students on the bus were not injured and were transported from the scene by a second bus to school. - TFC Billy Gregory
