KSP arrests Falls of Rough man on abuse charges

William T. Lainhart faces numerous counts of sexual abuse in 2005 involving two children who were ages 10 to 13 at the time of the offenses

LEITCHFIELD, KY - On March 5, 2013, at approximately 6:30pmCT, 51 year old William T. Lainhart of Falls of Rough KY, was arrested in connection to numerous counts of sexual abuse which occurred in 2005 involving two children who were ages ten (10) to thirteen (13) at the time of the offenses.




The charges stemmed from an indictment returned by the Breckenridge County Grand Jury on March 4, 2013. Lainhart has been charged with four (4) counts of Rape in the second degree, four (4) counts of Sodomy in the first degree, five (5) counts of Sodomy in the second degree, and one (1) count of Sexual Abuse in the first degree with the victim being less than twelve years of age.

Lainhart is currently lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center and is being held on a $50,000 full cash bond. The investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Ryan Johnson. MTPR Norman Chaffins
