Site Note: Free cancellation notices when Event posted in Events

Need a cancellation notice on CM? It's Free (if we've got the available staff to do so) when the Event is already posted in our Events Calendar, and, when it's appropriate, a news story, preferably emailed, will be posted. For changes in birthdays and events, we can usually find the item in question (out of some 100,000 entries on the site now), with just the date.

If you call CM at 270-250-2730 it helps if you are online at CM - just in case we need to check out the corrected information in real time.

Emergency cancellations for Events not published can be posted using paid hotspots at a very reasonable rate or by using an Advertising Text message, from $25 marked "(Adv.) for approximately 9-12 hours of fame "Floating down the Front Page of CM" for approximately $120.

With advertising, vastly more leeway is allowed, but not recommended. While messages such as "Rehearsals off - Corky" might be understood by the cast, it's bad manners to post that way and unfairly pique - without sating - the interest of over 99% of our readers. - EW
