13th Annual Read Adair County, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 One of the biggest school events of the year. The Cat in the Hat will be at ACES handing out goody bags. Free pizza and drinks, too. Click on headline for full story. By Ellen Zornes The 13th Annual Read Adair County will be held at Adair County Elementary School, 870 Indian Drive, 4:30-6:30pmCT, Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Free pizza and soft drinks will be served. The Cat in the Hat will be there to give each child a goody bag with a book, pencil and other stuff as well as lots of story book characters to read books and to have pictures taken with your child (bring your camera). We will also have activity rooms, BINGO for Books, face painting and will be recognizing top Accelerated Readers for each school. You can dress as your favorite storybook character and join in the fun led by the Cat in the Hat himself. So come help us wish Dr. Seuss a Happy Birthday. Contact: Ellen Zornes at 270-384-3400.
