Time for a Sinkhole Discussion: Any worry about local sinkholes? A cause for worry here? Word has reached Adair County of a sinkhole fatality in Florida this past week. (One link out of Chicago, IL: Sinkhole demolition begins on Chicago Tribune News website. This Karst area of Kentucky is filled with sinkholes. Any cause to compare? Does anyone know of any South Central Kentuckian or Animal Kentuckian being a victim of a sinkhole? Any need talk about it? Or are our sinkholes gentle ones, fascinating and non threatening geological wonders?
