PawPaw Produce comment: Lying only OK in bidness?

Comments re article 57957 History The Great Jamestown Hill Home Delivery PawPaw Produce Company

Billy Joe Fudge writes:
I have been informed by a really good friend of mine that a man should never lie except in business when he needs to. Well, should this story prove to be somewhat less than factual certainty, it does have to do with business, but as to the necessity, I don't know. - Billy Joe Fudge
Thanks, Mr. Fudge - But didn't Vice President John Nance Garner add that it was also OK to lie to defend the honor of a woman? But where in Hezekiah does it limit lying to just bidness and philandering? Any other exceptions? Besides folklore, storytelling embellishments? Comments welcome. - CM
